He was predeceased by: his parents, Maximo Ramirez and Justina Treviño Ramirez; his daughter Justina V. Valdez; his children-in-law, Juan Cardoza Jr. and Jessica Ramirez; his grandchild Baby Ruben Ramirez; and his siblings, Raul Ramirez, Rodolfo Ramirez, Ramiro Ramirez, Hector Ramirez and Rebecca Gutierrez.

He is survived by: his wife Oralia Valdez Deleon Ramirez; his sisters, Olga Contreras and Bertha Castaneda; and his cousin Cornelio Valdez.
