He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Rhea and Cecile Rhea (Rankin). He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Brown; his children, Curt Rhea (Sherry) and Terry Monkus (Rod); and his grandchildren, Amy Duymazlar, Brady Monkus, Ron Monkus and Lisa Logan. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
