She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Homer Garrett and Martha "Goldie" Garrett (Spears); her husband Jesse Poland; her children, Michael (Pamela) of Pendleton, Eric of Hermiston and Leah Stollar-Hooker (Mark) of Stanfield, Oregon; her granddaughters, Jasmine Stollar of Hermiston, Jade Hooker of Stanfield, Alexandria Poland of Pendleton and Jacinda Hooker of Stanfield; her stepgranddaughter Andrea Elbert of La Grande, Oregon; her great grandchild Sylas Swanger of Hermiston; her brother Kenneth Garrett (Georgia) of Pendleton; and her nephews, Alan and Brian Garrett.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to a favorite charity or to the National Federation of the Blind, 200 East Wells Street at Jergen Place, Baltimore, Maryland, 21230.
