He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Carl Pottala, Walt and Loretta Schnider. He is survived by: his child Devyn Ashley; his wife Blair Pottala; his children, Hayes and Royce; his parents, Chuck Pottala and Phyliss Pottala; his sister Leslie Smith (Fred); his children, Derek, Walker, Tori and Brooklyn; his brother Carl Pottala (Maggie); his nieces and nephews, Lane and Sammie; his grandmother Joyce Pottala; his parents-in-law, Jay, Kelly and Sloan Keithley (Kasey); his son Baillie Whitaker (Tyler); and his grandchild Russell. He is also survived by son that made his parents very proud, an uncle and a role model brother.
