He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Loftus and Edna Loftus; his siblings, Robert "Bobby" Loftus and Bessie Roane; his son Greg Loftus; and his grandson Kristopher Horning.
He is survived by: his wife Moonyeen [Spears]; his children, Don Loftus, Krista Horning, Lela Loftus and Gary [Karen] Loftus; and his grandchildren, Brenda, Dawn, Jodee, Amanda, Kim, Ashlee, Holly and Kendall. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
