It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Julius Vetter of Hermiston, Oregon, born in Shields, North Dakota, who passed away on September 22, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad Vetter and Theresa Vetter (Noel); and his siblings, Jimmy, Arnold, Alvin and Helen Scherr.
He is survived by: his former wife Darlene Gifford; his wife Dorothy Queen; his children, Viki Desler, Jan Schroth (Bob), Ron Moon, Pamela Mayberry (Jeff), Diane Eveland and Christine Howell (Hurshy); and his siblings, Agnes Stewart, Adeline Meindl (Victor) and Larry Vetter (Eileen). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to Telephone Pioneers of America, The Arc Umatilla County and TruCare Pregnancy Resource Center.
