It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Maitland (Hermiston, Oregon), born in Sunnyside, Washington, who passed away on January 19, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Barnes and Vera Baxter Barnes; her daughter Tamara Ruchert; and her brother Mike Barnes. She is survived by: her children, Chris Ruchert of Walla Walla, WA and Tim Ruchert of Brush Prairie, WA; her siblings, Jackie Leija of Irrigon, OR and Ken Barnes of Prosser, WA; and her grandsons, Kristopher, Tyler and Max. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
