He was predeceased by: his parents, Maximino Sanchez and Christina Sanchez (Garcia); his wife Francisca Arausa-Sanchez; his son Johnny Joe Sanchez; and his siblings, Alahas Sanchez, Pantalion Sanchez, Andrea Sanchez and Pilar Sandoval.
He is survived by: his children, Gloria Aguilera (Robert), Max Sanchez (Beverly), Genardo Sanchez, Jr., Violanda Aguilera (Raul), MaryJane Mangaser (Bonefacio), Floria Cardenas, Mary Ellen Castner (Timothy) and Esmeralda Carrasco (Pablo). He is also survived by 36 grandchildren and 143 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Burns Mortuary Chapel (685 W Hermiston Ave, Hermiston, OR 97838). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church (565 W Hermiston Ave, Hermiston, OR 97838).
