Frederick R. M. Rankin Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2025, at the age of 77, Frederick R. M. Rankin of Hermiston, Oregon, born in Portland, Oregon passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Harold Rankin and Betty J. Rankin (McKenzie); and his wife Marie Rankin. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Rankin of Hermiston, OR; his children, Rob Rankin of Pendleton, OR, Kyle Rankin (Michelle) of Richland, WA, Hayley Buckley (Zach) of Helix, OR, Tami Smith of Hermiston, OR and Ryan Corey (Sarah) of Hermiston, OR; his sister Vicky Doolin (Bill) of Hermiston, OR; his grandchildren, Kylee, Kaden, Samantha, Joel, Brett, Liam, Brandl, Sundari, Blane, Mariska and McCoy; and his great grandchild Kinslee. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. John's Episcopal Church (665 E Gladys Ave, Hermiston, OR 97838).
