She was predeceased by: her father Herbert Brood; her husband Lloyd Mellick; and her sister Susanna Brood. She is survived by: her mother Edna Jones Brood of Hermiston, OR; her children, Ken Gilham (Heather) of Hermiston, OR, Bertha Gilham (Michael Phillips) of Hermiston, OR and Tammie Browning (Jeff) of Wenatchee, WA; her siblings, David of Hermiston, OR, Buddy Brood of Hermiston, OR, Iris Sunquist of Hermiston, OR and Ruth Eddy of Vancouver, WA; her grandchildren, Crystal, Caleb, Shayla, Emily, Andy, Jessica and Ashton; and her great grandchildren, Zolah Rae, Asher and Azra. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
