She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lay and Mary Forsman Lay; her daughter Kathryn Fowler; and her siblings, Kenneth Lay, Edna Lay Itel, Russell Lay, Elmer Lay and William "Bill" Lay.
She is survived by: her husband Matt Doherty of Hermiston, OR; her children, Susan Russell (Don) of Boardman, OR and Steve Doherty (Pai) of Boardman, OR; her son-in-law Dave Fowler; and her brothers, Harold Lay and Melvin Lay of Lincoln City, OR. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
