He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Bloom and Elmo Bloom (Price); his wife Sharon; his siblings, Ed, Charles, Ida and Karen; and his daughter-in-law Brigitte.
He is survived by: his children, Glenn (Shannon) and Dawn; his stepson Shawn South (Sue); his grandchildren, Ken Mathis, Lisa Perry, Jessica, Jason Bloom and Steven Bloom; his great grandchildren, Evelynn Perry, Darcy Bloom and Tyler Bloom; and his siblings, Sam, Bill, Elmer, Harry, Alan and Barbara. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family request in stead of flowers that donations be made to the Volunteer Association at Umatilla County Fire District #1 (memo -volunteer association/Bloom), where his career began.
