Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carol Bockman of Hermiston, Oregon, born in Dupree, South Dakota, who passed away at the age of 85, on September 24, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bieber and Thelma Bieber (Schuchhardt); her husband Harold Bockman; her children, John and Lisa; and her siblings, Alvina Bockman (Alvin), Betty Zeller, Joyce Michaels, Jack Bieber (Edna) and Lyle Bieber.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda Kontur (Frank) and Jeanne Sulzle (Mark); her daughter-in-law Marla Rohlck (Steve); her brother Ron Bieber (Marie); her sister-in-law Phyllis Percy; and also Frank Kontur. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandsons.
Even as poor health and COVID greatly restricted her ability to be with people, she continued to submit monthly bible verses or other inspirational readings to the Mobridge Tribune newspaper.
