He is survived by: his wife Cristina Rivera; his children, Cristela Olson (Dean), Hilda Martinez (Pedro), Nelda Garcia, Olga Gaines (Dave) and Jose Alejandro Garcia III (Sarah); his grandchildren, Olivia, Marissa, Brenda, Gina, Laura, Claudia, Kylie, Davin, Annalise, Jose IV, Isaiah and Jadalynn; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Lucas and Zul; and his siblings, Jose Agustin Garcia, Ricardo Garcia, Josephina G. Gutierrez, Yolanda Moya and Lydia Elizondo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family.
