He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin E. Sather and O'Dellia Sather. He is survived by: his children, Steven B. Sather, Jr. of Salado, Texas and Jennifer Watts of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; his brother Alvin W. Sather (Geraldene); and his niece April Sather of Georgetown.
