He was predeceased by: his parents, Antone and Evelyn; his brother Joe; his children, Monte Jr and Candy Dey; and his grandchildren, Matthew Ryan and Jessica Dey.

He is survived by: his wife Mona; his children, Cynthia Roles and Robert Reeder; and his siblings, Larry Schlechter and Linda Kirschner. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
