He is survived by: his wife Gwen Reed-Thrasher; his daughters, Gladys Cross, Michele (Marcel) and Misty Thrasher; his stepdaughters, Tia Moore and Tatiana Sims; his son Marvin Thrasher Jr.; his siblings, Rosiland Thrasher, Annette Thrasher, Anita Hunter, Desi Thrasher, Tracey Smith (Freddie), William Thrasher (Gina) and Lummie Thrasher; and his aunt Gladys Clark Redic. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
