He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Wilkes; his sons, James Lee Chapman (Joanne) of Spencerport, NY and Loren Neil Chapman (Sandra) of Milwaukie, OR; and his siblings, Harold H. and Ifa E. Balfour of Eugene, OR.. He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
