She was predeceased by: her parents, Nolan Hanson Brown and Nellie Mae Stevenson; her husband McClellan Shay; her siblings, Lila Mae Brown and Nolan Brown, Jr.; and her great grandchild Hunter Matthew Petrich.
She is survived by: her siblings, William Brown, Nancy McKenny and Mary Alice Haynes; and her children, Earl Shay, Mickey Shay, Rickey Shay, Rosemary Nielson and Wanda Shay. She is also survived by Thirteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
