He was predeceased by: his mother Jean LaVerne; and his brother-in-law Don "Red" Cole. He is survived by: his children, Jason (Melani) of Ridgefield and Wendy of Vancouver; and his granddaughters, Ashley (Christian) of Spokane, Makenna (John) of La Center and Haidyn Jean (Dylan) of Ridgefield.
