She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Avery and Ruth Avery; her former husband Jack J Davis; and her sisters, Phyllis Butler, Opal Alexander, Carol Wetted, Joyce Watson, Pearl Miller, Gladys Warner-Fox, Betty Goldenstine, Shirley Thompson, Patsy Gladberry and Marie Offolter.

She is survived by: her sons, Robert Davis, Billy Davis, Jack Davis and Eddie Sherman; her brothers, Boyd Avery and Leroy Avery; her sisters-in-law, Mary Avery and Barbara Davis; her daughters-in-law, Christal Davis, Rachel Davis and Gina Sherman; and her grandchildren, Josiah Davis, Bethany Davis, Lydia Davis, Ethan Davis, Kaelan Davis, Paxton Davis, Madeline Davis, Hailey Sherman and Aubrey Sherman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and neighbors.
