She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter H. Gerke and Florence Holmes Gerke. She is survived by: her husband David Ott; her daughter Kerri Nelson; her granddaughters, Shaleen Miller and Kacey Stephens; and her great grandchildren, Emery, Cameron, Rhys, Keegan and Everly.
Marianne requested that contributions be made to the Start Making a Reader Today program in lieu of flowers.
