He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd E. Madden and Annie G. Madden; his grandparents, William T. Jones, Sr., Annie M. Jones, Ezekiel W. Betts Sr., Gene Madden and Mary B. Madden; his great-grandparents, Jake and Edna Glenn; his uncle William T. Jones, Jr.; and his aunt Joann Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Tamika Rickman of Roanoke, VA, LaNayjia Price of Gresham, OR and Anthony Rickman of Roanoke, VA; his grandson Josiah Rickman of Roanoke, VA; his sister Karen Robertson, Jr. (James); his nephews, Marcus Robertson and James Robertson of Roanoke, VA; his great-niece Layah Robertson of Roanoke, VA; and his aunts and uncles, Margaret Gray, Edna Jones (Kitty), Wilbert Jones (Gene) of Roanoke, VA, James Jones (Percy) of Roanoke, VA and Clyde Jones (Fran) of Roanoke, VA. He is also survived by aunts, cousins and longtime friends.
