With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Nightengale of Gresham, Oregon, born in Fairview, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 11, 2021 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Larry Nightengale to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Nightengale and Tillie Berndt (Siebel); and his sister Charlotte Winchell (Nightengale Moore). He is survived by: his former spouse Billie Nightengale (McFadden); his children, Amy Walton Mekelburg (Nightengale) of Absarokee, MT and Matthew Walton Nightengale; his wife Carol Nightengale (Walton) of Gresham, Oregon; his daughter Suzy Nightengale (Ford) of Portland, OR; his daughter-in-law Melinda Davis of Portland, OR; his brother Merlin; his sister-in-law Mercy Nightengale of Citrus Springs, FL; his siblings, Jerry Nightengale of Vancouver, WA, Sharon Armstrong (Nightengale) of Vancouver, WA and Leslie "Butch" Berndt of Vancouver, WA.; and his grandchildren, Jalen Ford, Ziva and Anya Mekelburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID, the family has decided to postpone any service.
