With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine Stone Callister of Gresham, Oregon, who passed away on February 9, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cedric Stone and Frances Stone (Bliss); her spouse Vaden James Callister; her siblings, Howard Stone, Evelyn DeYoung and Margaret Maggy; her children, Teri Herzog (Bill), Nancy Buley and Larry Callister (Janene Thomas); and her grandchildren, Cameron, Lindsay, Brendon Herzog, Neil Buley, Heather Buley (Dirk Tarman) and Drew Callister (Salma Salah). She was also cherished by four great-grandchildren.
The family suggests remembrances be made to Smith Memorial Presbyterian Church, Zimmerman House Museum (echohistory.org), or the charity of your choice.
