With solemn reverence, we commemorate Dolores Joann Nelson Herd of Gresham, Oregon, whose life came to an end on January 5, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Morgan and Helen Morgan; her brother Delano Morgan; her husbands, Bill (Bill) and Sam; and her son-in-law Paul Prewitt.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Prewitt (Nelson) and Mark Nelson (Devi); her grandchildren, Andrea (Jeff), Ashley (Gunnar), Tabitha (Zander), Tatiana (Nathan), Talina and Titus; her great grandchildren, Eleanor and Owen; and her siblings, Betty Meyer, Bonnie Preston (Lee) and Joe Morgan (Vicki).
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Happy Valley Baptist Church (14095 SE King Rd, Portland, OR 97086).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Happy Valley Church for the children's Awana program.
