It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Leroy Carstens of Gresham, Oregon, born in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, who passed away on October 25, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin and Shirley (Hanson). He is survived by: his wife Penelope Carstens (Sutphin); his children, Jason Wayne Carstens of Portland and Holly Noelle Keeton (Kobie) of Portland; his siblings, James Carstens (Sandie) of Frazee and Janice Fenner (Marlin) of Milbank; and his grandchildren, DeMarcus, Kaleeah and Kannon of Portland.
