Danny Thornton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Thornton of Gresham, Oregon, born in Pontiac, Michigan, who passed away on August 16, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Danny may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Danny touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick Thornton and Dorothy Thornton; his brother David Thornton; and his son Troy Thornton. He is survived by: his sisters, Diane Thomas and Linda Thornton; his children, Christy Thornton and Tracy; and his granddaughters, Josie Lyman and Garden.
In lieu of flowers and to honor his love for the great outdoors, donations in Danny's memory may be made to Oregon Parks Forever or National Parks Conservation Association.
