She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jean M. Thomas (Beck) and Bob E. Thomas; her husband Gary Gates of Grants Pass; her children, Greg Gates of California and Holly Gates of Coos Bay, Oregon; and her sister Lani Morgan. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren.
