We are sad to announce that on March 27, 2025, at the age of 100, Ruth L. Howell of Grants Pass, Oregon passed away. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. In the vast expanse of eternity, Ruth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ruth farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James A May and Cora Hazel McKee May; her brother James Darrell Parr; and her husband Ralph. She is survived by: her children, Linda, Ralph, Bonnie, Donald and Carol. She is also survived by her children; 20 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hull & Hull Funeral Directors (612 NW A St, Grants Pass, OR 97526). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Selma Baptist Church (18285 Redwood Hwy, Selma, OR 97538). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Deer Creek Cemetery.
