“today I read of Palmer Zotolla's passing, and my heart just broke. Of course i knew him all my life from saint anne's, and he was friends of my mother and father, Mildred, and Roger Watt, but i also knew him as the milk man. he was in albertsons stocking the shelves when i was way past 50 and i would ask him " Mr. Zottola, do you ever have a day off?" and he would just smile that beautiful smile of his, and shake his head and say, "gotta keep busy!". although its been a while since i last saw him, he will forever live in my memory as one of the finest men i ever knew. rest in peace, Mr. Zottola ... you have earned a day off.”
