He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Norman Godfrey and Doris Oakes Godfrey; his brother Jim; his wife Kathleen Godfrey; his children, Annette Godfrey (Jimmy Kagak) of Wainwright, Mark Godfrey (Liz Godfrey) of Sandy and Julie Godfrey (Jerry Rogers) of Farmersville, TX.; and his grandchildren, Garrett Strait (Tammy), Cody Strait (Lorraine), Abby Strait (Kory), Kyle Godfrey, Justin Godfrey, Makena Godfrey, Dagan Godfrey, Cameron Godfrey and Delaney Godfrey.
