He was predeceased by: his former wife Janet Lorimor Bird; and his parents, Mike Bird and Agnes Bird. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Bird; his sons, Sterling R. Bird and Ryal T. Bird; his stepsons, Robert D. Christman and Ashlee R. Christman; his siblings, Martha Bird Roberts, John Bird (Jo Ann Jennings), David (Lori) and Susan Bird; his brother-in-law Edmond Rodriguez (Giti); his sisters, Inez Doerter and Terry McDonald (Ed); and his grandchildren, Sterling Bird, Spencer Bird (Anabel), Sabrina Paton (Blake), Blue Christman, Ali Christman, McKenna Christman, Abbie Christman and Astrid Ranneberg. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anne Catholic Church (1131 NE 10th St, Grants Pass, OR 97526). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Si Casa Flores (202 NE Beacon Dr, Grants Pass, OR 97526).
