He is survived by: his wife Margaret Jane Quist (Sheafe) of Grants Pass, OR; his children, Matthew Quist of Grants Pass, OR, Marcy Quist-Knopf of Milton Freewater, OR, Michael Quist of Sunny Valley, OR, Mitchell Quist of Merlin, OR, Melinda Quist Favro of Grants Pass, OR and Mandee Quist of Rouge River, OR; his children-in-law, Jeff Knopf of Milton Freewater, OR, Kathryn Quist of Sunny Valley, OR, Angie Quist of Merlin, OR and Jacob Favro of Grants Pass, OR; his mother Dolores Saporta of Wolf Creek, OR; his siblings, Julie Ghiradelli of Utah, Karen Guadagno of Oregon, Susanne Saporta of Oregon and Eric Quist of Wolf Creek; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Mason, Casimire, Mattyjane, Maverick and Mattix. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
