It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Hixson Barker (Grants Pass, Oregon), born in McGregor, Minnesota, who passed away on December 15, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her children, Marie Mathis and Boyd Richard Hixson (Rich). She is survived by: her parents, Thomas Leinen and Rachael Leinen; her daughters, Carole Hayne, Dorothy Carson and Alice House; her stepchildren, David Barker and Kathy Weber; and her spouse Lowell. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren and a large extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fairy Godmother Scholarship Program (helping young women achieve their full potential) at the Rogue Valley Manor.
