With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Kettwig in Grants Pass, Oregon, born in Alameda, California, who passed away on June 28, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfather Duck; his parents, Carl Kettwig and Anne Grover Kettwig; his children, Patricia and Ken; his former wife Delphine Randolph; his wife Nancy Kettwig of Grants Pass; his son Richard (Christine Kettwig) of Lucerne, CA.; his daughter-in-law LeeAnn Bowman of Citrus Heights, CA.; his brother Ken (Susan Kettwig) of Pleasant Hill, CA.; his granddaughter Amy Kettwig; his son Gavin of Rohnert Park, CA.; his grandson Dylan (Maryann Kettwig); his son Milo of Lake County, CA.; his sister Patricia Reicks; his aunt Jane Bentley; and his nephew Todd Kettwig.

"It's for the kids" Due to COVID-19, the family has chosen, with regret, to forgo any services.

In lieu of flowers please send donations the Greater Grants Pass Rotary Foundation in Gene's name.

“I have such good memories of Gene & Nancy on Raindance tours. They were both so helpful to others on the tour. And then they invited me to a crab feed at their home! Every year when Gene's picture was on the front page of the Courier as "Mr. Duck" I was so proud to have known him. My sympathy to Nancy for her loss.”
