He was predeceased by: his father Lloyd Gilbert. He is survived by: his mother Wilma Gilbert (McKinley); his sons, Michael Gilbert of Grants Pass and John Gilbert of San Diego, California; his grandsons, Cody Gilbert of San Diego and Charles Gilbert of San Diego; his sister Wanda Tewalt of Grants Pass; his nephew Brian Tewalt of Mesa; and his niece Sherie Rucker of Grants Pass. He is also survived by three step-grandchildren.
