He is survived by: his wife Melinda Dean of Grants Pass; his children, Josh Dean (Robyn) of Grants Pass, Jody Dean of Grants Pass, Jonell Tague (Mike) of Powell Butte and Jason Dean (Lorelei) of Grants Pass; and his siblings, Jack Dean of Springfield, Oregon, Linda Mehl of Albany and Patricia Ross of Eugene, Oregon. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
