It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Avelina Vasquez Coriell (Grants Pass, Oregon), born in Los Angeles, California, who passed away on March 31, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Angela Casillas and Juan Vasquez; her husband Robert Coriell; her children, Lenora Lujan of Whittier, Calif., Carol Coriell of Bakersfield, Calif, Jessica Price of Kerrville, Tex and Lee Coriell of Eugene; and her siblings, Evangeline Vasquez, Rose Figueroa, Alex Vasquez, Minnie Vasquez, Efren Vasquez, Ross Vasquez, Faye Torres and Dora Ramirez. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
