With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Malcolm Leroy Hazel Jr. of Gladstone, Oregon, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 23, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Kelley Hazel. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Nancy Kelley Hadley (Dennis Kelley) of Oregon City, Oregon and Larry Kelley (Judy Kelley Illingworth) of Boise, Idaho; his grandchildren, Scott Hadley, Joshua Hadley (Amber), Amy Kelley, Heidi Kelley and Shannon Mathews; his great grandchild Makenna Mathews; and his siblings, Leila Rudy and Geoffrey Hazel. He is also survived by two nephews, two nieces and many other family members.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gladstone Christian Church (305 E Dartmouth St, Gladstone, OR 97027).
