He is survived by: his wife Janice (Jorgenson); his children, Kimberly Abel (Michael) of Aberdeen, Steve Absher (Mila) of Hawaii and Laura Holgate (Michael) of Portland; his grandchildren, Ryan, Jordan, Nikolas, Alexa and Alicia; his siblings, Carolyn Mathis of Florida, Debbie Malatia of Georgia and Jerry Absher of Florida; and his parents, Verbal Absher (Medlin) and Maurice Absher.
