He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Sabol and Theresa Sabol; his wife Karen Penfield (Penny); his children, Rick, Scott and Tiffany; and his children-in-law, Brian and Colleen.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, a mass of Christian burial will be held in October, and his ashes will be interred at Willamette National Cemetery.
