She is survived by: her husband Mervyn Helmersen; her children, Mike Helmersen (Debbie) and Brenda Higgins; her grandchildren, Blake Higgins (Shannon), Krista Connelly (Josh), Delaney Clark (Brent), Evan Helmersen and Brandi Higgins; her great grandchildren, Liam Higgins, Lorelai Higgins, Kristopher Clark and Kallahan Connelly; and her siblings, Hazel Mickelson and Mike Beck.
