He was predeceased by: his parents, August Vandehey and Helen Vandehey (Hendrickx); his siblings, Everett and Ella Mae; his children, Susan Erickson and Brett Vandehey; and his son-in-law Eric Erickson.
He is survived by: his wife Vivien Lacey; his friend Banks; his children, Vern (Karen Vandehey), Alan (Elizabeth Vandehey), Leslie (Doug Oglesby), Greg (Cindy Vandehey) and Kirk (Suzy Vandehey); and also, Africa, Turkey, India and Asia. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
