She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Cupper and Reta Cupper. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Franklin Batty Sr.; her brothers, Hank Cupper of Portland and Jerry; her children, Kay (Allen Gidley), Joseph Jr. (Shelley Batty) and Jessie (Dean Johnston); her grandchildren, Elise (Matthew Groves), Joel (Jami Johnston), Jake (Sierra Johnston), Jalina Mae (Charles Rohlf), Chuck (Sophie Gidley), JT Batty of Eugene, OR and Brandon Batty of Gilbert, AZ.; and her great grandchildren, Madison, Jayden, Peyton Johnston Charles III, Mason, Boone, Gracie Rohlf, Michael Groves and Margot Gidley.

Sharon Kay Batty, 85, of Forest Grove and formerly of Vernonia, died May 15, 2024, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.
