She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Warren Wilson and Eva Roberta Wilson (Hanson); her husbands, Lloy Wallace Whitmore and Elmer Oscar Gurske; her brother Earl Wilson; and her stepdaughter Linda Rose VanWagner.
She is survived by: her children, Nathan (Donna Whitmore), Darrel (LaLayne Whitmore) and Eileen; her son-in-law Ron Jensen of Gaston, Oregon; her brother Mikel; her sister-in-law Lola Wilson of Winlock; her sister Pearl; her brother-in-law Tom Gunn of Hillsboro, Oregon; her stepchildren, Coleen Gurske of Hillsboro and Lynn; her daughter-in-law Sandy Gurske of Forest Grove; her grandson Kamen (Mandi Sessom) of Phoenix, Arizona; her stepgrandsons, Erik Gurske (Heidi Gurske) of Hillsboro, Oregon and Kevin Connor (Kyle Connor) of Hillsboro; her great grandchild Marshall Sessom; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kamalia and Kiele Gurske. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Fuiten, Rose & Hoyt Funeral Home - Forest Grove (2308 Pacific Ave, Forest Grove, OR 97116). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Olive Cemetery (15445 SW Campbell Rd, Hillsboro, OR 97123).
