In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Mary Lou had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Mary Lou may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard L. Hills and Sophia Hills (Volker); her husband James Kenneth "Pete" Peters; her brothers, Robert Hills and Harold LeRoy Hills, Jr.; and her son Karl Gordon.
She is survived by: her son Rus; her daughter-in-law Janet Peters of Forest Grove; and her daughters, Debi (Tom Bernhardt) and Kathi (Thom Clock). She is also survived by her thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Fuiten, Rose & Hoyt Funeral Home (2308 Pacific Ave, Forest Grove, OR 97116).
