He is survived by: his wife Ricca Martin; his children, Neal Schmidlin of Hillsboro, Oregon, Michele "Shelley", Robert Pichardo of Bend, Oregon, Kathleen "Kathy", Cobey Mingus of Tigard, Oregon, Israel Fin of Portland, Oregon and Samuel Johnson of Vancouver, Washington; his siblings, Delbert, Jean Prindle, Billie Conner, Colleen and Wayne Weaver; his grandchildren, Lillian, Levi, Asa and Ari Pichardo; and his nieces and nephews, Natalie, Guy Jones, Brett Juden, Bonnie, Bob Randolph, Lenka and Javier Diaz.
