He is survived by: his wife Sharon Mann; his children, Cristi Crotty of Forest Grove, Darin (Rachel Flaig), Lesli and John Owens of Cornelius; his siblings, Louie Flaig, Larry Flaig Darlene Murrell and Carolyn Lyda; and his grandchildren, Derek, Kevin, Kayla, Kyle, Brittany, Hailey and Joseph. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
