She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Pressnall and Myrtle Pressnall (Eaton) of Greenleaf; her former husband Dean Griffith; her husband Bernard Landreth; her siblings, Milton (Doris Pressnall), Lillian (Tom Bartol), Maxine (Dale Fenstad), Harold (Virginia Pressnall) and Helen Thayer Pressnall; her daughter-in-law Jolene Cole Griffith; her grandchildren, Laura Sherman and Neil Griffith; and her stepsons, Jeff and Jay Landreth.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine, Stuart, Patty and Ron. She is also survived by four children, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, people may donate in Ruth's memory either directly to Country Side Living (the memory care facility where she spent her last months) or to the organization's non-profit, Thelma's Place (tax id #26-1372818).
